1981年9月8日生於義大利福利尼奧度。

2007 年，畢業於義大利佩魯賈大學傳播科學系，論文主題為「電影－紀錄片」，並為此執導了紀錄片《Benvenuto Signor Nessuno 歡迎無名先生》，拍攝期間，他與受輕度或重度精神折磨影響的人並肩工作。

2009年1月，進入馬德里電影學院(ECAM)和胡安卡洛斯國王大學，主修數位電影和新媒體碩士課程。

2015年定居台灣至今，主要拍攝聚焦島嶼東海岸文化活動相關紀錄片。

Tommaso Muzzi was born in Italy in 1981. In 2007 he graduated in “Communication Sciences” from the University of Perugia (Italy), with a dissertation on cine- documentary film.

Between 2004 and 2005 he was at the “Complutense University” (Madrid – Spain) with a 9 months Erasmus exchange scholarship. During this time he focused on experimental cinematography.From 2008 to today he has made various short documentaries and short films ranging in different themes such as the mobility of the new generations, the issues of mental illness, and the rediscovery of traditional cultures in various parts of the world. Since 2015 he lives in Taiwan where he carries on his film career.

住在臺灣東部的太魯閣族獵人，遵循著祖先的狩獵文化，在部落傳統和現代文明交織的脈絡下與山林、土地和動物、神靈共處，彷彿映照了人類文明在演進過程中的縮影。

This is a story about individuals from small, geographically marginal communities who maintain contact with wild nature. It shows how they honor their ancestral hunting culture while reinventing it and reinterpreting it.
